The Four Seasons hotel situated a few miles east from the main
NCN Route 7 in the most spectacular lochside setting on Loch Earn,
and the hotel offers a great base for cycling in West Perthshire.
The hotel has mountain bikes for guest use, and also has secure
overnight storage for bikes.
Here you'll find some of the best cycle routes in the UK if not
in Europe! The magnificent panoramic views, diverse wildlife and
miles upon miles of little used routes throughout the area's 2,000
square miles are invigorating and a real tonic for the senses. You
can choose between routes which roll gently over rural south Perthshire
and onto the Fife Millennium cycleway, or rugged Highland tracks
and quiet roads in the north and west of the area.
Perthshire is a destination for all seasons, but if you want stunning
scenery and vivid colours, come cycling in autumn when the tree-lined
hillsides and glens are resplendent with their coat of blazing coppers,
ochre's and golds.
Off-roaders are well-accommodated too. Here you will find an extensive
selection of little used Highland forestry and other tracks, at
the end of the day a roaring log fire, a hot bath, a dram and a
fine dinner are just rewards for a day out
