Christmas breaks in Scotland
PLEASE BOOK YOUR CHRISTMAS BREAKS EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT
Christmas
Come and relax away from the piped carols and the shops to this wonderful Lochside Setting.
We had the most spectacular White Christmas in 2009
Thursday, 23 December 20 10
A quiet day to enjoy this beautiful area, just sample our pure Scottish air, not too much though please, as it can have a soporific effect. Followed by a four course dinner.
Christmas Eve, Friday 24th
Welcome reception followed by dinner in Meall Reamhar prepared by Chef and Team.
There is a Watchnight service in the village, or alternatively at the charming Balquidder Church . Mince pies and mulled wine will be served after.
Christmas Day,
Andrew, and the Team wish you a happy Christmas. The day at leisure to enjoy this lovely part of the world, perhaps a loch side stroll, bag a Munro (take a packed lunch and a bottle of bubbly) or long forty winks to work up an appetite.
For those who do not want to venture further afield we offer a light lunch Menu. Try my favourite of a plate of fine Shetland Smoked Salmon with a bottle of champagne.
To end the day The 'Meltith' a traditional five course Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings and extras.
Boxing Day,
A balancing day to work off the excesses, a long walk, off to the sales, a serious hike, a days touring, or at least dream about it. A final feast of a four course Dinner.
