Gourmet Wine Tasting Dinner on March 9th 2012. Hosted by the eloquent Richard Meadows, of Great Grog Wines in Edinburgh, Scotland, this is a five course dinner with matched New World Wines from their list. Richard has promised to offer some more unusual matching of wine to go with the food for the opening Wine Gourmet Dinner of 2012.

Gourmet Wine and Scottish Themed Dinner
This popular Wine Dinner will featured old world wines, with wine comments from Aiden Schwarzer, of Tanners Wine Merchants of Shrewsbury. Now a regular feature in our calender this popular event has emphasis on the Old World Wines matched to a Scottish themed Menu, emphasising some of the great Scottish food.

St Andrew's Whisky and Wine Gourmet Dinner, and Game Featured Menu
St Andrew's wine and whisky gourmet dinners, led by Richard Meadows of Great Grog wine merchants, Edinburgh, Scotland. We are thrilled to welcome Richard back for this two-day fiesta of wine and whisky tasting and fine dining. The first night we have the pleasure of Richard's company and Wine Wisdom, where he will talk through the wines matched to each course. The menu will have a Scottish theme, emphasising some of the great Scottish food.The second night there will be Richard's wine notes for the wines that he has matched for this gourmet Game menu which will feature some of the wonderful Scottish Game that is available at this time of the year.
From £214 (chalet) to £237 (hotel) per person sharing this includes two nights, full Scottish breakfast, two gourmet dinners and the all accompanying wines. We'll give furhter discounts off the third nights booked, too; or if you prefer only one night, rates start at £107.
