““We have just come back from an overnight stay with our daughters and 2 dogs and had a lovely night!””
It’s the first time we have taken our dogs (2 jack russells) away with us as they would usually stay with family but thought we would give it a go! First off, the views are absolutely stunning, feel so lucky to live only an hour away from such beautiful scenery. We took our dogs on a long walk up by the old railway track as suggested by the lovely lady on reception, to settle them down but when it came to going out for dinner they were barking and howling. Happily, the hotel we were going to eat was dog friendly, so we just took them with us. This was the first time our daughters were sleeping in their own hotel room, they are aged 10 and 17 and they loved the experience. Our room had a 4 poster bed and a beautiful view of the loch. We all had a great time and will definitely be back!

“Surprisingly Fantastic!”
What a relaxed and efficient staff. Always a smile and always a good laugh. I’m already thinking of going back. The hotel, St Fillans and surrounding area is somewhere all people should experience at least once. Crieff, Comrie and Callander are nearby towns with some fabulous restaurants. If you want to stray a little. But really no need. Thanks to Sue for looking after us!
“Pup date from Shelby”
Hi Finn,
I just wanted to give you a pup date on my stay at your home. I am a nervous little critter but had a very relaxing time in my chalet although I didn’t meet any dogs on your list I did smell lots of new scents.
I never came across those fierce snowmen luckily but my hoomans were on the cased and kept guard while I snoozed. I walked the railway line and went through a huge dark tunnel which was very scary but I managed to be brave for mum and dad ( don’t want them to think I get scared!) we stopped at the village shop where I got an ice cream and met some other fur friends but didn’t get time to ask them anything before I was off again down to the loch for a quick drink then back to the playpark where I chased my frisbee for ages.
I really enjoyed the biscuits that was left for me I got them after I got home from the park , while mum and dad decided what they were getting to eat, we then headed out in the car again to a place called Creiff where mum and dad got something that smelled amazing that came in a paper bag and was hot. After that we headed back , where I curled up on the bed while looking out the window and watching birdies flying past the window, which reminds me I seemed to have come home with the little yellow duckie that was in the bathroom, we have named him chippie and he is a reminder of my amazing time.
I am now going to cuddle back up on the couch and sleep hopefully ill dream of all the sniffs and claps that I got while away, this was my first adventure without my big sister so hopefully she watched down on me and enjoyed it too.
Can you please tell the hoomans that I did have a bark at, I am sorry once again I just like to use my voice to tell everyone hello, they sometimes give me funny looks when I do this and then don’t want to come say hi.
Hopefully I can talk my mum and dad into coming back some day soon and we can meet.

“3 star hotel with a 5 star service. Loved it!”
Nice hotel, room was freshly decorated and very spacious and comfy bed. Amazing view of the Loch and large window in room so you can fully appreciate it. Cosy wee bar. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and generous Scottish breakfast. Friendly, engaging staff. Will be back and would recommend hotel, restaurant and Loch Earn as a place to stay without hesitation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Really enjoyed our stay…..”
We really enjoyed our stay at the weekend and we’re looking to book for a small family celebration next year.

“We booked the private function suite to celebrate a life and we weren’t disappointed.”
From the initial enquiry to the gathering, Sue the owner was on hand to offer advice and guide us in suitable menu choices etc. Food was exemplary btw 👍☺️
A lovely hotel with rustic charm, set in what can only be described as a stunning location with a vista worthy of the journey.
Thanks to Pauline, James but especially Sue for making our gathering run so smoothly, it was very much appreciated and made the send-off for our loved one an easier burden to bear.

“Cabins made for people and their doggie companions….”
We stayed in one of the cabins made for people and their doggie companions . A letter to her, and a doggie treat too . Cosy, and nice walk at the back. Breakfast in the main hotel was excellent and we got our own dining room where Meg our sheepdog was very welcome. And, she could have brekkie too. The staff were fabulous. It was just brilliant ..go there!
