““Stephen and Audrey””
We stayed in one of the lodges. On arrival we received a warm welcome and were immediately made to feel comfortable. We booked time for evening meal and then located the lodge which was well appointed, very private and had gorgeous views over Lock Earn. We had a lovely walk along the old railway and up the Glen Tarken path to a view point looking right down the loch. Dinner was absolutely delicious and the bar and restaurant staff were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. First stay here but I don’t think it will be the last.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel several years ago and had. Lovely visit in a lovely room with a lovely view. I thought that the food was good then. I have since been back, once at the end of last year, when 4 of us had a special occasion to celebrate. Well, 2 of us have Fillet Steak and 2 had Sirloin. All agreed that their Steaks were excellent. Overall, first class meal with excellent staff. Just last week, on a lovely sunny day, we took a run out from Glasgow. It is about an hour and twenty minutes to get there. That was an excellent use of time, as we decided to have supper there. We both chose Sirloin steaks and once again, we were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious.. sometimes you can have a lovely meal somewhere and when you go back, you can be disappointed. The Four Seasons has not let us down. Talk about a high consistent standard, they excel. Well done to the Chef and staff there. Well worth a visit for an excellent meal.

We stopped by on the way to Oban on the west coast for supper purely by chance as we had planned to push on further, but very glad we did. The food was delicious and the presentation perfect. Met Sue the owner with pet lab in tow as we were leaving who suggested we bring our dog for a meal or water as we had about two hours to go, so we did and how well the dogs got on. A definite stop over point for those traveling with pets, I gather cats are welcome too.
