Welcome to “Seasons View” – the rosette restaurant with the view.
The long-established AA Rosette Scheme has for over 20 years, consistently recognised “Seasons View” (previously The Meall Reamhar) for its culinary excellence. 2020 was no exception.
Whilst under different ownership and various kitchen teams, all have cared about the standing of the restaurant and the hotel’s position both locally and nationally.
My vision is to embrace the ethos of the four seasons, to reflect the seasonality in both the hotel and the food offering and for them to be at one.
To that end, Head Chef Ian Rainbird continues developing a menu that is both accessible and aspirational, creative but familiar and available for all to try. Critical to this is local provenance, so the best of local suppliers has been sourced to supply the freshest of ingredients. These include, The Handy Shop for our daily supply of fruit and veg and Highland Wagyu from Dunblane who provide some of our burgers and beef and D&D Dairy in Crieff to name but a few.
We know that there will be those amongst you who will wish to avail yourselves of the full rosette dining experience which is available with the Chef’s Selection Menu but is not compulsory…… There is also the all-day dining menu and specials to choose form too.
Seasons View is also the venue for the majority of our special events, whether that be our food and wine evenings, our homage to The Beatles or our participation in the Scottish Food Fortnight – this is where it happens, so do enjoy your meal with us!

Covid – 19 – We continue to adhere to the strict hygiene regulations as well as accommodating social distancing, which may, during busy periods, mean we operate an early and later reservation window for meals which will be rigorously enforced. We continue to accommodate guests with dogs in the Sitting Room but due to space, pet friendly tables will be limited. We do our best to retain guests on the same table and also restrict staffing levels to minimise contact and risk of infection. Staff are routinely instructed on our strict hygiene standards which are dynamic inline with guidelines.
To keep our prices competitive, it may be that on quieter days we offer a limited menu and we hope that you appreciate and support our decisions to do this. With this in mind, we would ask that if you have made a reservation for accommodation that you book your meals with us at the same time.
